One search box. Every site. Zero in on exactly what you want.
SiftProxy started as a project for musicians and tone chasers hunting secondhand gear, frustrated with how hard eBay, Reverb, and the rest made real searching — excludes, price ranges, and brand filters that were clunky, buried, or just didn't work. It was built to pinpoint exactly what they wanted instead of scrolling past hundreds of near-misses.
It's since grown to search 118 sites at once — no AI, no third-party search engine, just each site's own listings checked directly. Save a search once and it keeps polling in the background, with an email alert the moment something new matches.
And it stays fast: even a search with thousands of results scrolls and pages instantly, no lag no matter how big it gets.
eBay's saved-search alerts used to return exact matches. Now they mostly return “similar” items instead — a change eBay's own users have been complaining about. SiftProxy makes excludes easier: separate filters for the title and the description, so you get exactly what you're after.
Save any result and it's waiting on its own tab, across every search.
SiftProxy builds a matching search link for both, so they're never more than a click from whatever you just searched.
Every source is public or runs on your own free API access, with categories matched across sites automatically.
